Beyond the Pain

As I learn more about the early hours and days following my accident, I am struck by the notion of God’s Grace.

You see my neck was broken, the Hangman’s fracture. I have to wear a special collar  but I can function. I can pee,poop, speak. And, it was a near miss. All because I wore my seat belt.

I wonder what God has in store for me..

On August 14 Iwas in a car wreck.

It’s been 4 weeks but I am a amazed at my recovery. I am functioning and communicating.

And,except for a speech hestitation I seem none the worse for wear. After all I broke an ankle and fractured a vertabra.
